Frequently Asked & Question

The best time for the South Coast (Day 1-4) is November to April. However, Arugam Bay (Day 5) is best from April to October. This itinerary is an excellent "shoulder season" adventure (March/April or September/October) to catch the best of both sides!

Yes, equipment is readily available for rent in Hikkaduwa and Mirissa. We recommend bringing your own if you prefer a personal fit.

he Indian Ocean can have a swell even on clear days. We strongly recommend taking motion sickness medication (like Avomine) at least 1 hour before boarding the whale watching boat. It is also best to sit in the middle or back of the boat where the movement is less intense.

Yala is famous for high leopard density but can be crowded. Kumana (adjacent to Yala East) offers a more peaceful, remote experience with incredible birdlife and a high chance of spotting leopards without the crowds.

Not at all! Both locations have "Baby Points" and beach breaks that are perfect for beginners, with many surf schools offering 1-on-1 lessons.

The trails can be very dusty. We recommend bringing a light scarf or mask to cover your face, sunglasses, a hat, and plenty of sunscreen. Neutral-colored clothing is best to blend into the environment.

Absolutely. The mix of boat rides, turtle encounters, and jeep safaris makes this one of our most family-friendly itineraries. The activities are engaging for all ages, and we provide comfortable, air-conditioned vehicles with plenty of space.
