Today, you journey into the golden age of Sri Lankan history at the medieval capital of Polonnaruwa. In the afternoon, the focus shifts to the wild, open plains of Minneriya or Kaudulla, where nature takes center stage.

Today is a journey through time to the very roots of Sri Lankan civilization. You will start with a dawn climb near Sigiriya, travel north to the sprawling ancient capital of Anuradhapura, and conclude your day in the golden spiritual caves of Dambulla.

Today, you leave the northern plains and ascend into the lush, mist-covered Hill Country. Your journey takes you through the spice-scented town of Matale and culminates in Kandy, the cultural heart of Sri Lanka and its last royal kingdom.
