Where We Are Going:

Start your day in the heart of the Cultural Triangle before heading east to Polonnaruwa, the island’s majestic second ancient capital. In the afternoon, you’ll journey into the wild landscapes of Minneriya, Kaudulla, or Hurulu Eco Park to witness Sri Lanka’s legendary elephant herds.

Today, we journey south from the dry plains of the Cultural Triangle into the lush, mist-covered Hill Country. We will travel through the spice-rich region of Matale to reach the royal city of Kandy, the cultural and spiritual capital of Sri Lanka.

Where We Are Going: As your cultural journey concludes, we descend from the misty hills of Kandy toward the lowlands of Kegalle. Your final stop is the vibrant commercial capital, Colombo, before a seamless transfer to your departure point at BIA Airport, Colombo, or Negombo.
